São Vicente Caves

In São Vicente Caves the guides lead the visitors through an adventure inside those which were the first volcanic caves open to the public in Portugal, after its inauguration in 1996. The experience includes passing through the Volcano Centre, located in an adjacent pavillion, and which consists of a multimedia space directed at explaining the Caves as an example of the geologic formation of Madeira.
