Fanal

Located in the council of Porto Moniz, Fanal is a small volcanic hollow classified as an “Area of Rest and Quiet” by Madeira Nature Park. Its vegetation dates back to the discovery of the island and Fanal offers the show of nature in its pure state, with cows and calves in the fields. It can serve as a starting point for nature walks.
